At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I realized my fascination with books as a child maybe around the age of five. When other kids was outside playing I was seated in the middle of my bed surrounded by books. During my high school years I wrote short poems and essays. I wrote my first novel Man of My Dreams? in 2006.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I have several favorite authors but the one who stands out the most is Kimberla Lawson Roby. She inspires my writing. I love the way she portrays her characters making you feel as if they could be your next door neighbors. I strive to make my characters just as personal. My favorite genre to read is contemporary. However I read mystery and romance.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book What My Sister Didn’t Know 2 is a sequel to the first. In it I continue the story of two sisters Saphire and Gade Michaels who found themselves in love with a man they couldn’t resist, Joe Burrels. Saphire and Gade were both in commited relationships at the time which complicated things even more. Now after the love, lust, lies and betrayal has settled, the men comes forward to tell their side of the story. It took me about six months to write the sequel. I wanted to clear up any unanswered questions the readers had in book one.
