Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I’m a mother of four, author, blogger, freelance writer, illustrator and poet. I love to write Short Stories of Science Fiction, Romance & Fantasy and Poems about Love, Life & Emotions. I was born and raised in Harlem, NYC. I live in Orlando, FL. I have a fur baby named Todo, and he is a Ferret!
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
9,9,My fascination with books started at 8. This was when I learned how to read on my own and I could see the scenes of a story in my head. I started writing poetry and short stories when I was 9 but I fully got into it at 11 when I met with my mentor and middle school teacher Ms. Someone.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite authors to read are Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker, Anne Rice, Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, R. L. Stine, Roald Dahl, L.A. Banks, Maya Angelou, William Shakespeare, Langstone & E. E. Cummings.
I love to read horror, poetry, sci-fi, erotica & fantasy romance.
I’m inspired in my writing by my husband, my kids, my closest friends and the endless movies I consume!
Tell us a little about your latest book?
The latest book that I have published is ”The Escape: Collection of Passionate Poetry Writing” I was working on this poetry book for over two years (from 2016 to 2018). This book started off with just blog post writing from my Tumblr page and from my journaling notebooks. I wanted to write down my raw emotions on paper and share it with the world. I love writing about my deep emotions on topics like love, relationships, and sex.
