Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Although I’ve lived in London and other UK towns and cities, I’m now am lucky enough to live in the Cotswolds – a rural area in southern England where there are rolling hills and honey coloured stone cottages.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I’ve always loved stories and was a voracious reader at quite an early age. I studied English Literature as an undergraduate and went on to become an English teacher. About ten years ago I decided to fulfil my ambition of becoming a writers and went back to university to do a masters in creative writing.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I read widely in a variety of genres. I’m a big fan of Margaret Atwood, Kate Atkinson, Philip Roth, Kurt Vonnegut and Jennifer Egan to name but a few – authors who are prepared to take risks in their writing.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
‘Towards the Vanishing Point’ is a domestic thriller. It was inspired by more than one true story. Essentially, it’s about a young woman who becomes involved with a superficially charming man with a far more sinister side to him.
