Featured Interview With Gareth Ainsworth
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born in Bangor Wales and grew up in North Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. Currently I live in Maryland USA, with my wife, 3 daughters, Bulldog and Guinea pig
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My mother was always an avid reader, I’ve always felt some connection to books through her most likely.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Angus Donald and Conn Iggulden are two favorites. My genre of choice would be historical fiction.
However I have grown massively in my reading, from Stoicism and history, to investments and fitness
Tell us a little about your latest book?
It started in me just building a little log book for my own use. From there I just felt that this area of a true “beginners guide” wasn’t quite there and everything just grew. I truly enjoyed completing this project and hope I can create more in the future.
