Featured Interview With Erin Louis
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was raised in California, first southern then northern. Currently in Northern California. I have three cats.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I don’t know that I had a realization that I was fascinated with books, it’s just sort of always been there. Books were at my window into playing pretend.
I began writing in 2013 about my time as an exotic dancer. I had grown tired of the stereotypical and often misrepresented stories that I saw on TV and in movies.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I don’t think I have a favorite Author anymore, but Stephen King ranks pretty high. I love to read creepy horror and mysteries as well as nonfiction.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My book South of Heaven is about a non believer and stripper who repents at the last second getting in to heave much to her surprise. Once she gets there though, she finds out that it isn’t what she thought it was going to be. It’s full of repented killers and judgmental angels. She meets a demon through a rip in the fabric between heaven and hell and decides that Hell is the place for her. But getting there isn’t as easy as she thought.
