Featured Interview With Eric Kuhns
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was raised in central Pennsylvania. I currently live in Tegucigalpa, Honduras with my family. We are missionaries. It has been an adventure watching God working through our lives and in the lives of others.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
As a teenager I enjoyed writing short stories, and poems. But it was about five years ago that I felt God impress upon me to write this book specifically aimed at young people preparing for ministry. So many who said that God had called them to the mission field were getting detoured, or going home after being on the field just a short time. This book was born out of the necessity to address these issues that were keeping so many missionary candidates from becoming successful.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love reading missions related books and theological books.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
For anyone interested in or planning to be a missionary this book is for you! Satan uses some many detours to keep people from doing something for God, such as debt, ungodly marriages, ministry offers and the American Dream. Do fall victim to his lies and traps!
