Featured Interview With Don Sedei
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
In the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in a town famous for floods and unemployment. Johnstown, Pennsylvania. After graduation, I went to college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When I graduated from LaRoche University with a Bachelor’s in Advertising and Design I moved to Dallas, Texas where I currently live. Mia is my one-hundred and ten pound Great Pyrenees and Ellie is my six-pound Papillion.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
After spending over forty years in the ad world creating campaigns for some of the largest to the smallest brands I took time off to write about some of those experiences taking creative liberties by turning them into fiction novels.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I have no favorite authors. I prefer Fiction. Elmore Leonard is my favorite for dialogue style.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
DAY TWO: Leave no enemy alive, part-two of the Kachada Series is going through the third round of proofreading as I type this. I hope to have it published by March of 2020.
Right behind that is novel about a cross-section of emotionally wounded urban nomads and lost souls who learn first hand that one misstep can lead you back to the devil’s doorstep of the Hollywood Club where the journeys of the strange are welcomed. The Hollywood Club is written as a Frame Story and I promote it as a modern-day “Twilight Zone.”
