Featured Interview With Daphna Slonim
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born and raised in Israel. I came to Los Angeles in 1980, after I became Board Certified Psychiatrist. I came to visit a friend for a month, found my spiritual teacher and here I am.
I grew up with dogs in my crib and always had dogs till the last one died a couple of years ago. Now I am traveling a lot so feel it is unfair to adopt another best friend.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I always loved to read. I have spent hours reading since I learned to read at age 6.
I only started to write non-fiction books a few years ago. At that time I felt I should share my unique techniques with millions of people who have subconscious sabotage and fail to achieve their goals but do not need professional help.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love to read good novels, spiritual books and mystery/suspense books preferably with lawyers and courtroom drama. My favorite books ever are The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoyevsky and Autobiography of A Yogi by Yogananda.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
This is a “do it yourself” manual, explaining how to use Energy Muscle Testing to find the sub-conscious blocks you have to happiness and to achieve your goals and outlining my unique techniques on how to quickly and easily remove them, hopefully forever…
