At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I knew I had a lifelong curiosity with writing and creativity. Every activity and every club I joined, I began creating–from horse routines for parades to music composition. In school, as far back as I can remember, I was thinking of plots and stories surrounding classrooms and teachers. I relished writing assignments. Starting in high school I spent the majority of time in class writing poetry and published back then. I was fascinated that my mother was a published author in her early years.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I can get value from any book I read, but I am always drawn to science, legal analysis, and the classics. Do I enjoy Stephen King and John Grisham? Yes, immensely, but give me Steinbeck for an emotionally moving expenience. In other words, I have an eclectic appetite and exercise it. Over my life I have also studied, acted in, memorized, developed characters in, and read hundreds of plays from Greek tragedies to Restoration plays to musicals to the modern. Would there were more time.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
I am about to release a legal thriller based on the Russian mob in L.A. and the wet coast. Another exciting trial and many action scenes. Over the years it is my great pleasure to do action scenes in my books. The artistic challenge is exciting. I am writing two new books. One takes place in Scotland and the UK among the Royals. The other in the Hollywood Hills and surrounding area. I just released my first audiobook Rogue Divorce Lawyer and am going to release another audiobook in about three months Hollywood on Trial. It was a real challenge learning the technical aspects of building a sound studio, recording, mastering, publishing, and distributing audiobooks.
