Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
My Name is Cynthia Elomaa. I was raised in Westchester, NY. It seems a life time ago. So much has changed there since I grew up. I now live in Kent County, Rhode Island with my husband, my two boys and my two Australian Shepard Mini dogs.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I never knew a time when I didn't want to write. It's been my childhood dream.

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I honestly do not have a favorite author. I love books, I love literary works, young adult, contemporary. Just don't ask me to read mystery or romance. I'm not a fan.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
My debut book is a picture book tailored towards preschool to elementary school children.
Nicky has to clean his room, but once his clothes are in the drawers, they jump right out again. When he puts his stuffed animals on his bed? They run away eager to play. Nerf toys? Forget it. How can he get all those darts to behave? Mom’s on her way upstairs and Nicky still has to get all his things to behave.
