Featured Interview With Cary Allen Stone
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Raised in Boca Raton in South Florida when there were only 27,000 in the city. Now there’s 27,000 people on every block. I left Boca Raton for Orlando, stayed there ten years until I couldn’t get that song out of my head––”It’s a small world after all…” Left there and went to Atlanta, which I loved. Finally relocated to Phoenix, which I also love. I do not have a pet now, but the love of my life is doing everything she can to convince me we need a dog. I will probably get a dog when that “Can we get a dog” repeats in my head as much as “It’s a small world” did.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I loved to do research in high school and college, and I started to write when I became the “Invisible Man” when I’d come home from work, you know, when the wife and kids don’t see you because they have friends. I could literally walk through the house unnoticed. I thought now is my time to write, so I did.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love Clive Cussler adventures and Tim Dorsey’s humor. I read everything, but I’m a crime fiction/psychological author with my Jake Roberts Novels, so I read science magazines and books. My main character, Jake Roberts, is responsible for my inspiration. He stomps around in my head when he wants to come out. When I here the toe tapping,he’s ready, so I let him out.
Tell us a little about your latest book?

Bad things happen when she returns to California, She attends the party as a server then stalks Jake in Phoenix.
