Elizabella thought it was just a summer space cruise after graduating from college. The last chance for friends to be together before continuing their education or entering the “real world”. Being kidnapped and left in cryogenic suspension for a dozen years in a forgotten star system was not in her tour description. Neither was being rescued by a curmudgeonly former scout captain. He wants nothing to do with you except to get rid of you once they reach Epsilon Station.
Elizabella’s rescue and arrival on Epsilon didn’t help. Now someone was trying to kill her. She needed to know why they wanted her dead after all these years. Choosing to become the contracted slave to the scout captain who found her was her best way of getting his help to find out who did this to her and hide from the people trying to kill her. She swore she would do whatever it took to find who was behind this and why. And she did.
