Author Bio:
I started writing the first book of this trilogy five years ago when I was caring for my Mother-In-Law. She was a big influence on my return to attending church. I shared with her the question I had of what it might have been like to walk with Jesus during His ministry on the earth. She gifted me a Chronological Study Bible and in it she wrote, This Bible Belongs to Karen Ingram, A Child Of God. Given By Marta Bradford, Date 10-12-2014 Occasion, Love. She was an excellent example of a faithful Christian woman.
Five years later, in 2019, when I started getting serious about writing and doing research, I remembered the book she gave me. I opened it and saw she had written the name I had just given to the first book, Child Of The King (God). She had named the book in 2014 and I didn’t even realize it. This was a God moment for me.
I’m now an author, who is dedicated to spreading the Word of God through Historical Christian Fiction. My goal is to reach those who don’t know Him or His Word (The Bible). If you don’t hear, how can you know? Out of all my titles, the most important one is that I’m a Child of God. He has inspired me to share who He is and what He alone has done through His Son Jesus Christ. Through research, years of Bible Studies, and Sunday Sermons this trilogy is coming to fruition.
I live in California with my husband of thirty years and when I’m not writing, we enjoy time spent traveling with our family and friends. We enjoy camping, kayaking, and enjoying the grandeur of God’s creation. We have an extended family that includes ten children including their spouses. Twenty grandchildren and spouses who have blessed us with twelve great-grandchildren. Our family spreads from California to Hawaii, Washington state, and Arizona. This gives us a good reason to travel.
We are blessed by being surrounded by a great crowd of believers who enrich our lives with their faithfulness to our Lord Jesus Christ. Meeting together regularly in Bible Studies, Devotions, and lots of coffee.
