A Simple Soul: Moving from Fear to Love by Kimberly Cowherd

As we journey through life, it’s essential that we pause from time to time to reflect.
Where are we going? Where have we been? What have we learned along the way? This is the story of my journey and some of the lessons I learned. My lessons have come through the experiences of playing competitive sports, years of running and competing in triathlons, going through a couple of marriages, having children, discovering the beautiful practice of yoga, and juggling life itself. If you’re looking for a simple read that brings some life lessons to light, A Simple Soul may just be what you’re looking for. We are all connected, and we are all essentially looking for some of the same things in life—to be loved and accepted. Let this book connect with your heart and soul so you can find what you are looking for in life’s journey and make those changes that need to be made. Happy living!

Author Bio:
Let me take you on a journey. Grab a cup of coffee or tea, get comfortable in your favorite reading space, and let’s begin. We ALL have a story. Some are filled with more pain and suffering than others, but we all are broken somehow. We live in a world of extremes. We are an all-or-nothing society; we are judged for our successes and our failures. I don’t look at failure as many others do. I consider failure an experience that didn’t work out exactly how we planned. What we learn from these experiences helps us grow and gives us new perspectives on life. The reality is that we all have expectations, and when our expectations aren’t fulfilled, we may feel disappointed. If we don’t try and sometimes more than once to meet those expectations, we fail. When we fear failure, we stay in our comfort zones and avoid risks. The downside to that approach is that we don’t grow; we deny ourselves the chance to flourish. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
