Featured Interview With Christine Meunier
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I live in North East Victoria with my husband and two young children. I grew up in the city mainly, but now live in a regional town and love country living.
We have 4 chickens and I used to have a horse until he passed away at a ripe old age. We will have horses in the future.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I’ve loved reading for as long as I can remember! More often than not horse stories and as I grew older, Christian fiction and non fiction and finance books.
I have always enjoyed writing, but started seriously writing around 2003 or so. It wasn’t until 2012 that I was first published.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love reading Christian romances and horse related stories, so Lauraine Snelling, Francine Rivers and Tamera Alexander.
I love reading a good story and any that I have enjoyed inspire me to write stories that others will enjoy.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
B and B is set in Australia and focuses on a thirty-something male who isn’t a fan of people. He’s more than happy to focus on the horses at the trail riding place where he works. A new cook and her daughter are soon hired for the business and he finds himself drawn to her, in spite of himself. She isn’t interested in romance, she just wants to carve a future for her and her daughter.
