Featured Interview With A. L. D. Chalom
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Raised in Sweden, but feel like a foreigner there after having spent almost 12 years abroad now. Even my dog is foreign (he’s Catalan:)
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I probably started writing as soon as I could hold a pen. Not sure the writing made any sense to people back then (not even sure it made any sense to me either for that matter). I used to write on post-its. I had a deep and inexplicable fascination with them. I was basically a weird kid.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love love love reading funny books. And funny is so hard to write. So I respect funny authors even more for that reason. Right now I’m reading “The 100 year old man who climbed out of a window…” by Jonas Jonasson. It’s just brilliant!
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book “ONE” is a poetry collection. It was mainly inspired by my writing account on Instagram (@printpoetics) where I share snippets and poetry for free with my audience. I realized there was a demand for a collection, and that’s how it happened.
