When Goodbye Begins: Life Takes Over by Geeta Lal Sahai
Inspired by true events: the love story of a bipolar in this pandemic; estranged wife accepting the reality and coming to terms with husband’s Alzheimer’s; an ‘out of love’ woman fighting for her sanity and respect; child sexual abuse survivor trying to find her true identity and love. The themes are contemporary and the women characters fight for their identity, juxtaposing memories with reality. Descriptions of the abundant natural beauty counter the grief and remind one that life is worth living. These five stories celebrate the fragility of the human mind and the resilience of the spirit. “Powerful, heartbreaking…Remarkable” (Amazon Reviewer).
