Tracy loved her life. She had a wonderful career and a man who loved her. She fully expected Paul to propose to her any day. Happily ever after was just an engagement ring away.
Until then, Tracy focused on her career with the Chamber of Commerce and had been assigned a new project, a project that included Dillon. Dillon might have been new to town, but he was no stranger to flirting and enticing women to appreciate his rock-hard abs.
Much to her own surprise, Tracy was tempted by Dillon’s attention. Even though she had the life she always wanted, there was still something missing. Did Dillon hold the key to that last illusive piece of the ideal life Tracy craved?
Tracy might have been able to explore that option if it had not been for the accident. Instead of finding the key, she discovered that it is true what they say – everything can change in a heartbeat.

I began writing by publishing genealogy books. These were entirely different than writing fiction. The characters are already defined for you when you write genealogy books! After writing eight family history books (and several revisions to those) I decided to try fiction. As an avid reader, I found it increasingly difficult to find books that were thought-provoking and yet entertaining as well. So many new fiction on the market today speak to specific causes, ailments, struggles, etc. But what about the struggles of average, ordinary people? I struggled to find characters that I could relate to personally. So I wrote my own! My first work of fiction started as a single book but quickly evolved into a five-book series. In the last year, I’ve written seven fiction books. Five of them are Christian romance. The other two are more difficult to categorize. After you read them, let me know which category you would select for them!
