Natasha Mason grew up in the small town of Hartford,
Connecticut. At the age of 5, her mother’s boyfriend began
to abuse her sexually. By the age of 11, the abuse
progressed to verbal and physical abuse.
Growing up, Natasha would often go to her grandmother’s
house to get away from the abuse. Her mother was being
abused as well. As Natasha got older and her family moved
to California, she began to seclude herself. She lived this
way until her early twenties when she started to go to church
and strengthened her relationship with God. The abuse
continued until she was 28 years old when God told her to
leave and that is what she did
I am a mother of 6 and a grandmother of 4. I am a survivor of 23 years of domestic violence and child sexual abuse. I am also a certified domestic violence coach. I enjoy spending time with my family, I enjoy miniature golf and relaxing by the water.
