The Martial Art: An Adam Emerson Novel by Dane Andrew
Adam Emerson always believed martial arts were about discipline, respect, and mastering the self—until he found himself in the middle of a deadly conspiracy that demanded more than skill. It demanded survival.
After witnessing a brutal crime connected to a powerful underground network, Adam is thrust into a world where political corruption, shadowy operatives, and ruthless killers collide. With danger closing in, Adam must rely on every lesson he’s ever learned—on and off the mat—to uncover the truth and stay alive long enough to expose it.
Blending high-stakes action, intricate mystery, and a gripping Caribbean backdrop, The Martial Art–An Adam Emerson Novel delivers a riveting story of courage, justice, and the blurred line between right and wrong.
Perfect for fans of action-thrillers, crime fiction, and character-driven mysteries.

Author Bio:
Dane Andrew is a Jamaican novelist whose stories draw from a lifetime shaped by music, film, and human complexity. An accountant by day and a disc jockey by night, he has always been a writer at heart.
His debut novel, The Martial Art, began as a tribute to his mother. When she woke from falling asleep in front of the television, she often asked about movies that never existed. Inspired by one of those imagined titles, Dane began writing a story that, three decades later, evolved into his first novel.
His work explores the tension between violence and restraint, love and loss, failure and redemption—stories grounded in lived experience and emotional truth.
Dane lives with his family in Jamaica and continues to write character-driven thrillers that blur the line between entertainment and introspection.
