Laura Giebfried is the author of six novels. As a native Mainer, her stories are often set in New England.
Giebfried earned her degree in Psychology and Technical Writing from the University of Maine, and screenwriting certificates from The National Film and Television School in the UK, The Film School in Seattle, and the University of California, Los Angeles. As of 2020, she is working on her Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology.
Giebfried has been married to Stan Wells, an actor, director, and screenwriter, since 2016. They currently live in Bangor, Maine, with their daughter, Alina Odette.
