I once toiled in dead end work that bled away my dreams over years as I suffered the lies and mean minded rubbish that pervades the minds of those who would hold back the ones given to imagination.
Imagination leads to discovery, on life on ones self and if it is married to travel…..it leads to Freedom.
“Travel teaches us to see”
The final breaking with my old life led from a chance encounter with a friends colleague. After listening to me bemoaning the rut I had gotten myself into over the years she announced my difficulties on a bar room table.
She put her finger on the table and announced,
“You spend most of your life at your work…..”
She then drew her finger a few inches to the left across the table and continued,
“And you hate your work…..”
She then drew her finger back right across the table and completed,
“So you spend most of your life hating your life!”
That chance encounter changed my life as I determined to devote it to travel managing to leave that job and career forever a few years later and take to travelling extensively around Europe gaining experience in the finer things in life that decade of experiences in those places leading to the writing of “The Manor”
I hope you enjoy and discover where your happiness awaits…..time is short…travel.
