Boris Amado is a Writer/Poet born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, on the celebrated “Dia De Los Muertos”, November 2nd 1974.
To escape the brutal Central American civil war of the 1970-80s, Boris’ family relocated to Hollywood California where he and his older brother, David, were raised by their single mother, Maria Dora Amado (1938-2016), who was daughter of Guatemalan Military General, “Paco” Francisco, Amado, De Puertas” (1874-1942).
