Andy Vassallo is Managing Partner of the Aspen Summit Group, a consulting and advisory firm focused on assisting organizations in getting more done and achieving their goals.
Andy is creator of the APEX Methodology (Active Performance Execution) and author of The Focused CEO: Why some organizations thrive and some spin their wheels.
Andy is known for his big picture point-of-view. He’s able to see opportunities for improvement and risk points in a variety of industries to pinpoint problems and diagnose solutions. Along with the enterprise-wide view, his technology background makes him adept with details. Couple these traits with his direct, transparent, and imaginative style, and you’ll understand why he is a proven Get-Sh*t-Done advisor and consultant.
As a consultant, he brings over 30 years of executive leadership, management consulting, professional services, application development, outsourcing, and information technology experience in assisting his clients. His experience includes executive leadership at companies ranging from entrepreneur start-ups, venture back groups, and large multibillion-dollar Fortune 100 companies.
As an entrepreneur, his journey began in the Detroit suburbs when as a teenager he purchased a Commodore 64 computer and tried to convince a family friend who was an accountant to join forces and write a computer program to do their taxes. Unfortunately, that venture never took off, but lessons were learned.

After college and a few years of writing code and working as a software engineer in Boston and San Diego, Andy joined with three friends to start a company in the California Bay Area, just north of the Silicon Valley in the 1990s. Jumping ahead a few years, we find Andy in a key leadership position at Superior Consultant. Superior will go on to a j a successful IPO and NASDAQ top 5% performance. In the following years, Andy would work in executive and C-level positions at a Fortune 250, a Fortune 100 company, two private equity-backed firms, and two additional start-ups.
During his career working in Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, Denver, and Michigan, Andy worked with genuinely genius-level technology experts and innovational leaders. While working with them, he was able to absorb a portion of their vast knowledge.
