After a long career in graphic design and fine art, Jan Thoreen Lewis published her first book in 2021, Fire in the Sky – An Artist’s Love Affair with Colorado. During the process, she discovered her love of writing. She has just completed her second book, Grit and Grace – Finding God in Your (Wild, Radical, Ruthless) Yes. It’s filled with personal, humorous, conversational lessons learned while sitting with her husband during his journey with dementia and comes with an accompanying guided journal. Through it, she shares stories of God’s faithfulness and love as He poured out comfort and revelation for her to share with others. Over the past year, Jan has become passionate for God’s people to have tools that help them understand and actively capture their thoughts to the obedience of Christ, renew their minds, and experience transformation as the normal Christian of life. Since her husband’s passing in September, 2023, Jan has seen a new season open for her of bringing these lessons to the Body of Christ with warmth, personal stories, and impact.
