About Firebrand: & other poems from my diary by Arya Adake:
Want a peek into what & where a teenager’s mind can go?
Curious about how an elementary school teacher can shape the world for her student?
Need an example to reflect on how we can pursue passions & respond positively especially under depressing locked-downs (COVID)?
If Yes, then Firebrand by Arya is for you!
It is a manifestation of something larger than the book itself. It’s a real life example of how the love for books can nurture a young mind. It’s a culmination of five years of dreaming, five years of feeling, five years of writing.
The poems come straight from author’s diary, and are grouped into four sections: Love, Turmoil, Nature, & Hope, each one meant to display a different facet of poetry.
A beautiful & elegant piece of work that’s worth having it by side to flip through whenever you have a moment or two & the book is sure to bring a smile to your face or to make you think!

Author Bio:
Arya Adake is a passionate young girl from Northern VA who uses poetry and short stories to express herself.
A junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, VA, Arya loves biology and neuroscience, as well as learning and choreographing Kathak, a traditional Indian dance, and working with children. When she’s not writing, she’s usually reading.
Firebrand is her first published work, the realization of a very private dream from years ago: to publish a book before turning sixteen. She is beyond thrilled for her words to see the world for the first time, and she’s already working on the next installment!
