Featured Interview With Wen Soon
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I’m a current graduate student studying marriage and family therapy. I’ve been surrounded by public health and behavior change my whole life and that influenced how I grew up. I was raised in the Bay Area in Northern California. I still live here. Unfortunately, I do not have much time to take care of any pets.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I would say I started writing in the past year because I got inspired to be courageous and take a chance on writing a book. I’ve always wanted to write one since I was a child because I loved reading and the adventures it used to take me on inside my mind.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love self-help books because they teach me so much about myself. I can count on Brene Brown, John Gottman, and Margaret Moore as some of my favorite authors.
