Featured Interview With Treisha Parker Combo
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was raised in a small town near Ahoskie, NC. I currently live in Smithfield, NC. I have a beautiful 13 year old Chihuahua and Jack Russell Terrier mix named Winter Rose.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I had a fascination with books in 2nd and 3rd grade. After the passing of my Best Friend my Great Grandmother Mamie, I lost interest and ended up in the Special Education Program for a few years. I began writing in 2023.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I enjoy Inspiring Authors like Stormie Omartian. Rachel Rodger’s, and Michelle Obama. I definitely am a Fan of the Holy Bible also.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
Ain’t No Shame is about a woman who lost everything and must listen for God’s voice in order to restore her Faith. After a series of misfortunes in her life my character lost her trust in God, but he had other plans. I tried to write alone. Which got me Nowhere. I prayed to God for help and he answered me. My Scribe Coach, Penda L. James helped me get everything done. My book was supposed to help about Money and halfway through. There was a shift and Ain’t No Shame was birth. It took us 4 Months to complete it.
