Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I'm 42 years old. I was raised in the Dutch city of Zwolle. (Not be confused with the one in Louisiana) I still live there. After my plants kept dying, I decided that pets were not an option. And I got a whole bunch of plastic plants to replace the dead ones.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I started reading in school and kind of never stopped. I started writing somewhere before 18, but didn't really decide to go for the big leagues until I was in my thirties.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Clive Cussler, Micheal Crichton, Matthew Reilly (But only his Scarecrow books), Ian Fleming and many others.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
Chess Games in Cairo is about a spy called August Smith. Assigned to the titular city, he and his teams soon find themselves in a duel of wits and guns with an ancient cult that has dark designs for the future.
