Featured Interview With Rajat Chohda

Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born and raised in Pathankot, Punjab, India, where I currently live with my family. My journey has taken me through Italy, France, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands for education, work, and life experiences, but eventually I realized that home is where I wanted to build my future. Living in different cultures taught me that, despite our differences, every human being is searching for the same thing—peace, happiness, and freedom. I don’t have any pets at the moment, but I deeply enjoy spending time in nature.

At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I wasn’t fascinated by books as much as I was fascinated by questions. Since childhood, I kept asking why people believe what they believe and why so many live without questioning their own lives. I started writing seriously only a few years ago while living in the Netherlands. I never planned to become an author—I simply began capturing observations and experiences, which eventually became The Divine Flow of Satyuga (Age of Truth).

Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I don’t have a favorite author because I intentionally wanted this book to emerge from my own direct experience rather than someone else’s ideas. If I had to name my greatest inspiration, it would be life itself—travelling, observing people, nature, silence, and everyday experiences. I enjoy books that encourage awareness, critical thinking, and self-discovery rather than telling people what to believe.

Tell us a little about your latest book?
The Divine Flow of Satyuga (Age of Truth) is not just a book about spirituality—it is an invitation to question everything we have accepted without understanding. It encourages readers to move beyond borrowed beliefs and discover truth through their own direct experience.

I didn’t write this book to create followers or promote a new philosophy. I wrote it to help people become more aware, more peaceful, and more free from unnecessary fear, expectations, and conditioning. The ideas in the book were gathered over several years through observation, travel, conversations, silence, and life itself. My journey through India, Italy, France, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands helped me realize that although cultures differ, every human being is searching for the same thing: peace, happiness, and freedom.

This book belongs to every human being, regardless of religion, nationality, or background. If it inspires even one person to think independently and live with greater awareness, it has fulfilled its purpose.
