Featured Interview With Nathaniel Jackson
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I have been married for 17 years to a Beautiful woman name Karen. I have four beautiful children Nate, La Wanda Jason and Janelle. I was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. I currently live in Chicago Illinois but eventually plan to leave Chicago and live where it does not snow. I have a Pomeranian named Taz. Taz is a loveable dog, who loves affection and is with a family who loves and treats him well.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I began to appreciate books when I was 16 years old. I remember reading The Call of the Wild and The Old Man in the Sea and falling in love with what I read. I began writing Poems in High School my Senior Year. I remember writing a Poem for my classmate Sean, and the Poem was so good that it got a standing ovation when it was read in front of the entire school. Sean was recognized Publicly for the Poem I wrote, but because I did not want to embarrass him, I remained silent and did not tell anyone I was the person who really wrote the Poem. That was the moment I decided I wanted to become an Writer.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I like to read books by Donald Goines, Earnest Hemingway, Terry McMillan, Zane, Mark Twain and numerous other great Authors.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book is called Marked for Death, Bittersweet Revenge. Marked for Death, Bittersweet Revenge is about a man named Lance who loved recieving Freebies. Lance was drugged, robbed and raped after receiving free drinks from two women he met at a bar. Lance’s life spiraled out of control causing him to seek Revenge against the two women who drugged, robbed and raped him. Lance’s quest for revenge changed him forever and caused him to realize Revenge is Bittersweet.
