Featured Interview With Mousie T Parks
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Mousie T Parks is an avid storyteller. She believes that the best adventures begin between the pages of a great book. She is a multi-genre author whose stories explore human nature, dark mysteries, fun ideas, and a little romance. When not drafting new characters or dreaming up new stories to tell, Mousie can usually be found tending to a chaotic backyard garden, hunting for vintage treasures at local thrift shops or scooting around town with her husband on their e-scooters with her Cockatoo Taki Burd. She spends time with her husband, and they create their own adventures. She once told him it would never be boring, and he will tell you it hasn’t yet.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I have always been an avid reader. I started at a young age. Small circle of friends and we would trade books among each other. I loved to go to the library as buying the latest book I wanted to read was usually out of my price range. Now being in my older years, I still love to read and find myself always looking for the next book. I love roaming around second-hand bookstores and thrift shops. There is always that new treasure to find.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
There are so many authors I love, probably too many to mention. Genres I tend to lean towards mystery, thrillers, crime, true crime, psychological thrillers, and every now and then fantasy.
