Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I'm a Jersey girl currently living in Texas who likes birdwatching and playing Baldur's Gate 3. I'm autistic and asexual who deals with anxiety issues.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I've been reading ever since I was a little kid. I started writing in 8th grade. I came up with the idea for My Ex is a Vampire in 2017. It was inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
My favorite authors are Jane Austen, Marissa Meyer, Xiran Jay Zhao, Jose Rizal, and C.S. Lewis. I love reading romance novels (either contemporary YA romcoms or historical romances). My writing is inspired by authors like Gabriella Buba and Elisabeth Wheatley.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My Ex is a Vampire has Filipino-American vampire hunters who have to balance normal lives as teenagers with vampire hunting. Jane is the perfectionist honor student dating the boy on the football team. Andy is the new kid in town, a total punk whose girlfriend is obsessed with vampires. Jane and Andy have a frenemies to lovers dynamic.
