Featured Interview With Kyra Schaefer
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I grew up in Richmond, Virginia. As an adult, I have lived all over the country. I currently live in Phoenix with my husband Todd, and my two dogs Honey and Jack. After seeing thousands of clients in my hypnosis practice I decided to shift focus and find my true passion. I love making book publishing accessible for aspiring authors. I create group books with authors who want to use authorship to help them build their brand in an affordable and easy way all while delivering professionally produced books and media which help readers with personal transformations. It’s wonderful to see a new author get excited about their book and help them fulfill a life long dream of authorship.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I remember reading books to my stuffed animals as a small child. I loved books and the journey’s I would go on as a result. I loved the pictures that were painted in my mind, how all the characters came to life and the wisdom I would receive in connecting with the stories. I began writing short stories when I was around 10 years old. The stories I would write would get played out in my grandmother’s basement with childhood friends and my cousin. I currently focus my attention on Non-Fiction, but I do love a fun story.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Marianne Williamson, Wayne Dyer, Stephen King, Mary Higgins Clark. I think Wayne Dyer inspires me most in my writing. I really love the simple wisdom and his ability to tell a story with meaning.
