Featured Interview With KEITH K LONDON
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I am a native of Tyler, Texas and have lived there all of my life. Retiring from my job of 32 years allows me plenty of time to use my God given gift. My streetwise experience allows me to use my imagination and create characters that are true to life. I am grateful for this opportunity.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
My fascination for books began with historical research. I believe that a lot of information passed down through history was incorrect. I write fictional stories in order to right a wrong. The use of dialog and characters in a modern day scenario proves to be effective.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Historians, Yosef Ben Jochannan, and Dr. John Henrik Clark, influenced me the most. Combining laughter, drama, and history together can be entertaining as well as educational.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My book is about a young man who wanted to be a baller. His love for the streets and influence of reality tv, created a fictitious lifestyle that could bring him to an early fate. He was a married man with no sense of responsibility. His wife could no longer tolerate his behavior. She took the kids and left. To his surprise she stepped out on him and became the queen of nightlife. Missing his family, he decided to man up. He had to change and become the man he was meant to be.
