Featured Interview With Hope Redgrave
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
Hi! I'm Hope Redgrave! I'm a 23 year old Indie author studying engineering. I was raised in a small country and that's also where I currently live. Growing up, I only had one pet, Athens, a rabbit. I'm a huge cat lover and anime enthusiast.
I also love reading addictively and paint whenever I have some free time.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
Around 17 or so when I realized I love writing. I used to write fanfictions about an Indian boy band, SANAM, on Instagram, on journals. So you could say the writing thing was always there. It was actually during the lockdown did I realize that I'm a huge bookworm. I remember reading more than 400 books in that year.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love almost every genre. Dark romance is the genre that fascinates me the most. If I need to pick authors, I'd say, I love reading books by Jennifer L Armentrout, Jeanine Frost, Rina Kent, H.D. Carlton, Arthur Conan Doyle, Osamu Dazai, Fyodor Dostoevsky and so on. All of them inspired the tangled of genre I write in.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My recent published book is Fractured Hearts. It's a prequel to the main Shotguns and Roses series. The story is about Marco and Rose. Two childhood friends turned lovers, navigating their own career and personalities. But life is fair and neither is their story. This book has a fun, childish beginning, a hormonal teenage and new adult phase….and finally, a matured, filled with love family life. But what is happy ending without a few tears of pain, right?
