Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I grew up in Kentucky and then moved to Colorado due to allergies in middle school. I currently still live in Colorado! Sadly no pets nowadays. The last pet I had was a hamster named Da Vinci.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I can’t remember exactly which age because I believe it was in preschool they started teaching us to read. My teacher made these hand drawn little flip books with different stories in each booklet. I’ve been addicted to reading ever since. I have read literally thousands of books and comics. Writing took longer. Around age 9 I tried my hand at it and didn’t get the best grade for a creative writing assignment. I really started writing in college for fun.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Nathan Thompson, Brandon Sanderson, CS Lewis, and Terry Pratchett are probably my favorite authors to read. I think LitRPG or power fantasy books are actually my favorite to read in terms of numbers. They are like popcorn, easy to snack on and continue reading. I would say Jesus Christ is my inspiration for writing. Without Jesus, I’m pretty confident I wouldn’t be here or writing.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
Terra Tamers: Alpha is about two brothers in a post apocalyptic earth who end up in an artificial intelligence’s test for a new game. A game with the potential to change everything! There’s science and fiction, monsters and humans, and a holographic penguin butler with a hobby for collecting trash. And all of that is underpinned by genuine characters, some light exploration of game mechanics, and world building.
