Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was raised in Riga, Latvia, and still call it home. I also have two horses, and they’ve been a part of my life for over half of it. Working with them isn’t just a hobby—it’s the place where I recharge and get my best ideas.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
Books hooked me early. As a child, I was fascinated by the idea that someone could take an idea in their mind and turn it into something permanent—something that travels further than they ever could. I started writing in my teens, but I didn’t take publishing seriously until later, when I realized that writing can be more than a hobby—it can be a business and a bridge to people you haven’t met yet.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I gravitate toward nonfiction authors who turn ideas into systems—people like James Clear, Pat Flynn, David Gaughran, and Meera Kothand. I read a lot in the self-publishing, marketing, and personal development space. What inspires me most is seeing how a well-constructed book can give someone the clarity or courage to take action. It’s proof that books still change lives.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
My latest book, Books That Sell Themselves, shows nonfiction authors how to turn their expertise into a strategic publishing asset. Instead of guessing what readers want, the book walks you through researching demand, outlining with AI, publishing intentionally on Amazon, and building an author platform that keeps selling long after launch. It’s not just about writing a book—it’s about writing one that works for you.
