C.C. Warrens has had a lifelong passion for reading, writing, and (no, not arithmetic) creative expression: painting, singing, baking some rather odd things (that may or may not overflow, explode, or burst into flames), drawing, and writing. Publishing her first book in April of 2017 was a dream come true, and she continues to create and explore the infinite world of creative writing.
Interesting tidbit — some of the oddball and quirky situations her characters encounter have a basis in reality. Adaptive Sports, featured in book 1 and 2 of the Holly novels, actually exist. Her husband (also featured briefly in the Holly novels) coaches sled hockey for disabled athletes and regularly plays wheelchair basketball. In Cross Fire, Holly briefly alludes to Jace catching a potato on fire in the microwave (an unfortunate incident that actually occurred in C.C.’s first apartment.)
