Bring It To The Surface Poetry & Journal

About Bring It To The Surface Poetry & Journal:

Introducing my latest book, Bring It To The Surface! We lose a lot of things along the way like confidence and hope, and sometimes ourselves. Some of us are carrying loads of pain and hiding behind masks (no pun intended). But God wants us to heal and grow. This book is not only full of poetic inspirations and inner dialogue we all can relate to, but a chance for self-reflection with coaching questions and a space to journal your answers. Tannika Moore is so excited for this book to reach your hands and heart, and she prays you allow God to bring some things to the surface.

Author Bio:
Tannika Moore is a writer, a poet, an editor, and an educator. She is a firm believer that there are two things people can’t take from you, and that is your education and faith, which are major focuses in her professional and personal life.

Besides helping underprivileged youth prepare for college, she has written for her alma mater. She has also written as well as edited for a blog and organization dedicated towards empowering women. Tannika teaches Sunday school and also writes poems and skits for special events at her church of fellowship.

She has a Bachelor’s of Arts in English: Professional & Technical Writing. Tannika has also edited various works from research papers to web content.

Her writing began at the age of 11/12 as a way of expression and because of her love for music and reading. She encourages writers to not only write for expression and creativity, but to learn about themselves and the world around them. She also encourages writers to find and strengthen their voices through their writing. She often can’t sit still but looks forward to relaxing in a comfy, sun-lighted book nook overlooking a beautiful garden, and enjoying steak tacos and a chocolate chip frap while reading or writing. Tannika resides with her family outside of Chicago.
