Originally from Gary, Indiana and raised in Mississippi, B. S. K. Sanders has consistently dedicated herself to academic pursuits. She earned both BS and MS degrees in Biology from Jackson State University, followed by a BSN from Mississippi College, and a MS in Nurse Anesthesiology from Xavier University. Her professional journey includes roles in laboratory science, nursing, and Anesthesia, spanning oncology, medical-surgery, and anesthesia care.
She is licensed as an APRN and RN in multiple states and has dedicated herself to service through esteemed organizations including AACN, ASPAN, NAFE, NAPW, and AAUW. Ms. Sanders is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., proudly holding the title Crystal Dove, the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) and the Small Business Association (SBA).
After retiring as a CRNA, and a lifelong fan of murder mysteries, she now channels her passion for solving puzzles into her fiction, weaving intricate plots that invite readers to become detectives alongside her characters.
