Karen and Kathy are identical twins. They live in Harrisville Mississippi with their Mom and dog Molly. They have and older brother who lives in North Carolina. Karen and Kathy have always wanted to be authors, it wasn’t an easy road, but it was one they traveled and made it happen. The twins went to college and majored in Child Development. They work as child care givers. They say working with kids keeps their imagination and muses thriving. They have the perfect audience for their stories.
When they needed a story for their class on shapes they sat down and wrote Wiggle Worm’s Shape Adventure. They read it to their class, the kids loved it even though their were no pictures. Karen and Kathy decided to send it in to PDMI Publishing, and it was excepted. Now, the book has beautiful, colorful illustrations done by Virginia Jennings. Be on the look out for more Wiggle Worm books! Yes, Wiggle Worm is going to have a series called: Wiggle Worm’s Colorful Week. Book one is: Monday Is Yellow Day.
Karen and Kathy not only have a passion for writing, but cooking too. They love to create their own recipes and try out on family and friends. They hope to own their own bakery or food truck one day. Their favorite movie is Julie and Julia because it is about writing and cooking, their two most favorite passions.
The twins write children’s books and cookbooks, but they dabble in poetry too. One day in the future they would love to write a novel and see all of the Wiggle Worm stories become a cartoon. Wouldn’t that be neat. Karen and Kathy are ready to take on all possibilities to make all their dreams come true!
