I remember being told that whatever you think about doing as soon as you wake up is what you’re supposed to be doing. For me, for a long time, that was writing. I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia with my younger sister. It was an interesting childhood, to say the least. I’m now a single mother with a niece and two nephews and a ridiculous number of cats. When I’m not working I’m playing Uno with my nephew, Julian or having deep conversations with my 6-month-old nephew, Aayan. He’s very insightful. Or perhaps I’m listening to my son, Elijah’s EDM music (I don’t get it) or my sister, Shana and I are laughing about something we said in passing 25 years ago. I enjoy eating and watching television simultaneously and photography.
