For more than 30 years, Jeff Downing served as a federal prosecutor in the Middle District of Florida—one of the largest federal districts in the country. Assigned primarily to the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, he prosecuted international and domestic drug trafficking, organized crime and gang defendants. For several years he supervised all public corruption prosecutions in the district. For a short time, he was the lead Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force attorney in the District of New Hampshire. Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Jeff graduated from William Allen High School. He received his B.A. degree in political science from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania and his juris doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh. He resides in Florida with his wife and their German Shepherd. He is an avid fly fisherman.
