Jamie Dickey graduated from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, CANADA in April 1999. He also is a three time graduate of the University of Western Ontario in London, CANADA. In university Jamie majored in History and Political Science and earned an Honours Degree in each with distinction. Jamie’s undergraduate paper titled: “Made in Vienna: The Indoctrination of Adolf Hitler” was published by The Mirror in March 2004. After graduating from Fanshawe College, Jamie wrote six children’s stories that would be considered picture books for very young children; kindergarten to Grade Two. Publishers have said positive things about some of his stories and one in particular picked out the story titled ‘Jericho and the Sunbird,’ as their favorite. Jamie has written piles of essays and believes that university helped refine his writing, research and analytical skills. These transferable skills can be helpful in writing fiction. Jamie graduated in 2004 with a post-graduate Diploma of Ethics and took a few English courses as well during his seven years at university. Jamie lives in CANADA and is working hard editing and revising his debut thriller, Secret Monitor Men. His second book, The Milwaukee Job, is an offshoot of Secret Monitor Men with 2nd Constable Annie Hall as the protagonist.
