February twenty fifth two thousand and five was supposed to be the beginning of the rest of my life. I married my high school sweetheart after twenty years of separation. We had only been seeing each other for two weeks when he let me know that he wanted to marry me. I was so honored and happy that this man wanted to marry me that I never once questioned his character, integrity, loyalty or love. In other words, I never really took the time to get to know him as a person. If I had, I would have realized that I should have never married him because I never knew that a person could be so secretive, hold so many lies and possess such a demonic spirit that it would make Satan take notice! Of course, I realized this two years into the marriage and now I was struggling to get out. I no longer wanted to be Michelle Marie Adams anymore, but to become Michelle Marie Madison again.
