As the fearless international correspondent for GNZ News, JP Warner has always risked his life to beat the competition to the story, and received all the notoriety and riches that comes with it. So he decides to leave the jaded industry, and returns to the idyllic Connecticut town he grew up in, hoping to rediscover the person he once was.

Derek Ciccone is the author of 13 mystery/thriller books including Painless and the JP Warner series. he grew up in small town Connecticut, which allowed him to spend a lot of quality time with his imagination. Derek graduated Arizona State University with a degree in political science, which doesn’t help him very much in writing a novel, but he did enjoy the warm winters. In his free time he likes to spend time with his family, play sports such as basketball, and read books by other authors.
