Lilly Adam was born in London and has lived in parts of Surrey and Sussex. She has resided in Oxford for the past thirty eight years, raising her large family, but always harbouring a passion to write but never finding the time. May of Ashley Green is her debut novel, although she has written poetry and non fiction under a different pen name. She has a keen interest in history, especially the Victorian era in which her novel is set. She is presently working on her second novel, also set in this time period.
