Featured Interview With Kenneth J. Janssen
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born in St. Louis, MO, but did most of my growing up in New York, including earning a BS in Logistics from NYU.
I married Jeannette, the love of my life forty years ago and we raised two very successful children. My career moved us around to five different states and we finally settled in Ohio as empty nesters.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I started writing short stories about space travel when I was ten. During my acedemic years I contributed to school newspapers including a spell in high school as the editor of the school’s literary paper.
My career included much travel and my writing went to the back burner. I’m retired now and the day after I stopped work I started writing a novel.
I’ve published two Mark Matthews Mystery novels “Blood Money” and “Fatal Dose”as ebooks with Untreed Reads http://bit.ly/10TPLjN or at Amazon.
Three additional novels “The Path Taken”, “Siblings” and “Family Matters” are currently being reviewed by potential publishers.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
John Sanford
Stephen Frye
Carlos Ruiz Afon
Stuart Woods
My favorite genre is Mystery/Thriller/Suspense.
“The Path Taken” , however, is a Spiritual/Inspirational novel. and “Siblings” could well be classified as a romancde novel.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
