Featured Interview With Emeline Piaget
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born and raised in Western New York, attended school at the University of Buffalo and then went into the military and finished school in the South. I still reside in the beautiful south, bluegrass country. I have two doggos.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I have been reading since I was able to hold a book on my own. I started telling elaborate stories to my little sister at night to put her to sleep and my mother used to say “you should write those down,” but sadly I didn’t listen. Many years later, the stories started to come to me again and during a conversation with one of my closest friends I mentioned this. She said, “you should write that down.” This time I did.
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
I love love, so romance is one of my favorite genres. Shannon Dianne has one of my favorite stories and I actually started writing after reading one of her series. Sherrilyn Kenyon and her Dark Hunter series will always top my list as well.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
I am currently working on a story about a woman named Georgie who gets burned in love. She falls for a younger guy but doesn’t trust him or herself enough to love. This story, along with all of my others, is an interracial romance novel.
